How do I lower the pressure on my FLUSHMATE toilet?

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to troubleshoot and fix a flushing issue with your toilet: 1. Begin by turning off the water supply valve to prevent any water flow. 2. Flush the toilet to relieve any pressure that may be present. 3. Disconnect the water supply line from the Supply Shank (A) of the toilet. 4. Take a close look at the inlet screen and remove any debris or objects that could be obstructing the flow of water into the FLUSHMATE® tank. 5. By following these steps, you should be able to address any issues with your toilet’s flushing mechanism and ensure smooth and efficient operation.

Should there be water in the tank with a FLUSHMATE?

When you flush, a small amount of water may come out from the upper supply group. However, the FLUSHMATE® system has a drain at the base that will remove most of this water. It’s important to note that there may still be a small amount of residual water (less than 1 inch) left in the china holding tank, but this is completely normal and nothing to worry about.

Why would a toilet flush with a FLUSHMATE?

Flushmate®-equipped toilets are specially designed to maximize flushing power by using hydraulics to forcefully push waste out of the trapway. Unlike traditional gravity-based toilets, Flushmate toilets only require a single bend in the trapway, which eliminates the need for double flushing.
